Separate the date systems before asking which day fits
Gregorian dates, lunar dates, solar terms, and stem-branch labels answer different questions. Date selection starts with the event and a practical date range, then checks suitable activities, restrictions, and clashes. One Huang Dao label or score cannot replace that comparison.

Confirm the Gregorian date, lunar date, and solar-term position
One day can carry a Gregorian date, lunar date, stem-branch label, and solar longitude. Check the conversion first; Lunar New Year, Li Chun, and 1 January are not the same boundary.

Read suitable and unsuitable notes for the event
Moving may distinguish transport, entering the home, and setting the bed; a wedding may distinguish registration and ceremony. Find the matching activity before reading broad restrictions and clashes.

Add practical and personal constraints last
Venue, people, weather, and work schedules define the viable range. If personal date selection is needed, add the participants' data rather than letting a general label replace a real decision.
Why Huang Dao does not automatically mean a good moving day
The site example checks moving home on 13 September 2026. The day spirit is Qing Long and the day is marked Huang Dao, but the suitable list contains only 解除, 坏垣, and 馀事勿取; the unsuitable list says 诸事不宜, and neither 移徙 nor 入宅 appears as suitable. Reading only the Huang Dao label would omit the fields closest to the question.

Choose the activity first, then read both the suitable and unsuitable lists in Huangli. A day labelled Huang Dao is not automatically suitable for a wedding or move. Broad restrictions such as 诸事不宜 still need to be considered.
