The Qi Men calculator applies both a +6.00-minute longitude correction and a −3.61-minute equation-of-time correction. The rounded adjusted time is 08:02, still within the Chen hour. This is different from Lingtai tools whose summaries currently apply longitude alone.

Read the chart header before the palaces
For this input the tool reports the Chai Bu method, the Winter Solstice solar-term segment, Lower Yuan, Yang Dun Four Ju. These fields explain how the base arrangement was selected; “Four Ju” is not a score and does not mean the chart is fourth-best.
The summary field reports the Chief star as Tian Qin in the Qian palace and the Envoy as Death Gate in the Kun palace. In the grid, the Qian row separately shows Tian Rui in the star column and Chief in the spirit column. Preserve the field names instead of merging those labels into one object.

Separate Gate, Star, Spirit and stems
Gates describe one layer of situational action, Stars another pattern, Spirits another symbolic layer, and the two stem plates show their placement. The eight-gates and nine-stars guide explains the vocabulary, but the fixed row remains the unit to verify.
Do not translate every favourable-sounding label into success or every cautionary label into failure. First state which field produced the observation, then compare it with the question and real constraints.
Know what changes when the input changes
A different time can change the hour branch, Yuan, Ju, Chief, Envoy and palace contents. A longitude or equation-of-time adjustment matters only when it moves the input across a relevant boundary, but the original and adjusted times should always be retained.
